The reactors made by Myreef are supposed to be of good quality. Here is a link to a review with his web page and some other info. He also makes skimmers and some otehr equipment.

Another person to try for is George Webber. His reactors have been dubbed the Geo Reactor on the forums. I own one of these and can vouch for his craftsmanship. I think he has a waiting list of over a month.

Both of these guys do good work at a far lower cost than the reactors of equal quality on the market. I can't really vouch for any of the retail reactors. I have heard that you should avoid knop reactors, but other than them most are happy with what is purchased.

Here are a couple of pics of our 180g reef.

Cool, I will have to check out his work. I have heard nothing but praise for it though. Well actually there has been some debate on the forums about how much his skimmer has in common with the PM Bullet HSA skimmer. Had a few ruffled feathers about pattents etc. But the quality on them is great.

Just look up local welding suply shops and rent one. I think they are $25 per fil and last about six to nine months. I think it is much easier to rent one then buy one.

Hey tenner i can get you a tank for pretty cheap, considering that a fill is less than five dollars Im not sure how renting could be cheaper. I play paintball so i have large co2 tanks that i used to fill small tanks before i got my compressed air system. Ill see how many tanks i can get toghther, If anyones interested send me an email.

Hey spddrcr,

Congratulations on the new addition in the family. Thanks for the response, but I already broke down and bought one. Hopefully someone else will be interested though.
