skimmer question

i am looking at getting a new skimmer. i have to things iam looking at. i can get my hands on a aqua c ev240 pretty cheap or a euroreef cs6-1. any comments or suggestions. i know the ev 240 is overkill but if i can get it cheap what they hay.

From what I've read both companies make good skimmers but I have no personal experience with either one. I just ended up buying an MRC MR-1 for my 90 setup.

Either one of the skimmers will work on your system.
I have used the EV 240 on a 160 gallon tank, it worked just ok IMO. I wouldn't recommend it because of cost and overall performance. I switched to a MRC skimmer and IMO it put the EV to shame. With either the MRC or the EV240 you will need a large pump to run it, like a mag 12 or a mak4. Check out MRC skimmers before you buy the EV240 even used the MRC maybe cheaper.

The CS6 will do the job. I am currently running a es8-1 on my 75 and it is doing a great job.
