I'm working something out with Dave (see this thread) so SEABAY can get some of those 820 Seios for the group buy rate of about $35 a piece (versus $53+shipping at Marine Depot). For those of you who don't know, these pumps are a brand new technology that will fill the niche of high flow/low wattage. The 820 is rated at 820 GPH using 18W, but without the right angle flow bracket, they are said to achieve about 1000 GPH.

Large amounts of gentle flow is absolutely required for anyone trying to keep SPS coral in a larger tank, where having a dozen carefully placed powerheads could heat the water up too much. Right now most folks serious in SPS are using the Turbelle Streams by Tunze, but these Seios are intended to be more widely distributed with a wider range of flow rates supported at a significantly lower price than the Turbelles.

I am planning on getting 15 Seio 820s for our next club meeting, with three of those reserved for myself. If the response here is really high in the next 24 hours, I will extend the order. Please e-mail me to reserve some. Let me know how many you want.

PS - If you want to know more about Seios, there is a huge thread here

I'm not a member of SEABAY, but if I can, I'd like to buy one. Just PM me with the details.

I have been really overloaded with replies, probably because the price I am selling these for is below wholesale and will never be seen again. Anyway, sorry but I don't have any left.
