I just splashed water on a 2 week old ushio 250 10k bulb (it cracked) but still works :(. anyone have an extra around for a decent price or do I need to pay $90 around town to replace:confused: I'm tapped after finally getting this thing set up:(

thanks

Nick,

I assume this is a mogul base MH, since a DE would have a glass shield to protect the bulb from splashing?

bummer that sucks how close to the water are your bulbs and how much water did you splash? I am curious for my own knowledge. So I myself can becareful and know when to jump back !

theyre are about 13"s away. I had a some powerheads in there while I was working on my closed loop. I dropped one while pulling it out and splashed about an inch circle of water on the bulb, did pop, just sizzled and cracked a little:(

Ushio is really good about replacing bulbs (even if its your fault!) if you contacted the store you bought it from they can get you an RMA from Ushio...
