June meeting

Lets have the June meeting at my place again, I'd be glad to host the reef club meeting. We have a lot of new members that have not yet been over. If anyone else wants to volunteer, please do, otherwise Lori and I are happy to host it again.

mike's place is out on the far side of christiansburg (the other side of 81). for those coming from radford, we can meet you someplace closer than zooquatic so you don't have to drive all the way into bburg.

lets ge a head count again of who's coming, and if you're not a bburger, say where you're coming from so we can figure out a good place to meet.

i'll bring those TDS meters i posted earlier about to the meeting- the ones with the dual in-line sensors. if you have a RO/DI, you need one, it'll tell you when the DI is exhausted (don't trust color-changing resin).

if you want one, bring 23 bucks (i'm not making any money off this).

OK - I think I will be able to make it on June 10. Coming in from Radford. Hold one of the TDS meters for me _ I checked out hte web site and it looks like a good deal.

BBurgers: we'll meet at zooquatic like always, then pickup the Radford/Christiansburg peeps on the way.

Radford guys: wanna meet somewhere near the NRV mall? we'll be driving right past it- i'm assuming you guys are coming up pepper's ferry. we could also meet you guys out by 81 if that's how you plan on coming up.

NRV mall is the only mall is Christiansburg right, if so I can meet there but I will meet where every Shivaji wants to meet to make it easier.

NRV Mall is fine, or if you want to keep with the petstore theme we can meet in the one diagonally across, with the Pet Store next to the Office Max. This is the mall opposite the Duncan's Auto dealership, - on your left as you come in from BlacksBurg past Zooquatic, with the Burger King, Arbys, Appleby, BooksAMillion and so on.

The store Shivaji is speaking of is CNP Pets, but just has a sign that says "Pets". I can meet you guys wherever you want. Actually, the quickest way is to meet off of Depot St. in Christiansburg at the Pizza Inn (so you can just take Radford Rd. into C'Burg). I guess it all depends where you are at in Radford. Either way, I think its easiest to meet at CNP in C'Burg because of its central location.

Matt .. if you want, I'll meet the Radford guys at CNP, and you can meet the B'Burg guys at Zooquatic, and we can all meet up at my place (Lori will be there in case we do not arrive at the same time).

Let me know what everyone thinks. Also, if anyone coming to the meeting wants any xenia, just pm me and I will happily give you a stalk.

Finally .. the TDS meters can also be used to monitor your RO membrane, which is what I am using it for (RO membranes should be replaced once you get less than 75% rejection, which I am very close to right now). Then I use a handheld to test my DI water for DI exhaustion.

Since Nick and I are the ones from Radford, Pizza Inn is fine, so if everyone wants to meet there we will be there.

ok, tomorrow's the day.

bburgers- meet at zooquatic at 7:30 like always. we'll leave there at 7:40 and head towards Mike's place and pick up the radford guys along the way at pizza inn in cburg.

anyone coming from roanoke? if so, someone can meet you right at the first christiansburg exit off 81, but call me at 951-8870 (daytime) or 552-4439 (evening) to let me know to send someone out that way.
