The Summer party in June will be a Pot Luck. Please use this forum to let everyone know what you are bringing so that we dont end up with fouteen fish-shaped Jello molds and a bunch of Gold Fish Crackers.

That is so cool! I have just finished my scuba cert! I will be there for the party....I think I will be bring a fruit salad, unless someone really wants something else.

Chips, dips and jello molds are all good but can someone bring a potato dish, how about a bean dish or some real veggies, corn on slob er cob or something like that?

We will be bringing sweet potato casserole and Brook Lodge water chestnuts, which are water chestnuts wrapped in bacon and baked with a barbeque type sauce. If anyone would rather I bring another veggie dish, let me know. The sweet potato casserole is almost like a dessert instead of a side. Can't wait till Sunday! See you all there.

Are we supposed to bring our own plates, cups, silverware? If so, we have a lot of plates we can bring. We have leftovers from our sons graduation party. Just let us know....

We have plenty of plates, silverware and napkins.
If you bring your own beverage, bring your own cup to mix it up in.

OOPS! I went to the store this morning to get everything I needed to make my dishes and I get home to start the water chestnuts and realize I am out of toothpicks. With Dave working and the baby down for a nap, I woun't be able to get back up to the store. My neighbor doesn't have any either, SO I won't be bring the Brook Lodge water chestnuts. I will however still bring the sweet potato casserole and I will stop and pick something else up before we get there, any reasonable requests?
