Folks,
As you know the Swap meet is fast approaching and is really coming together well.
Here are some details of whats going on
Saturday May 29th
10:00am - 5:00pm
Delta Toronto West Hotel
5444 Dixie Road (just south of the 401 on the west side)
Laurel 1 Room
We have 4 primary sponsors that will have displays set up
Aquarium Obsessed
Reef Crew
Cool Touch lighting
Oakville Reef Gallery (ORG) (Possible Display)
We will have several other tables set up around the room for you to bring what you would like to sell/swap. All I ask is that we limit what we bring to hobby related items. In other words, don't bring a set of winter tires to sell Bring Corals, tanks (or pictures of), other hardware or livestock, etc.
There will be a $2 entrance fee per person or a $5 per family fee. This will go directly towards the cost of the event. Paul from Concept.ca has graciously offered to cover the fee for the first 100 people!!!!!!. You will receive a stamp once you have entered the meet so you can come and go as you please through out the day.
ALSO , we will have a raffle with some great prizes donated by the sponsors. For example, a $200 gift certificate from Reef Crew , a 24" Dual 75 Watt VHO All Aluminum REEF Retrofit from Cool Touch Lighting, a new precision marine 422 skimmer along with various corals from ORG, and more prizes to come! Tickets will be available at the meet for $5 each or $10 for 3. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to a local charitable group to be determined.
We will also have a large Carafe of Tim Horton’s coffee. Coffee will be $1 a cup. No food will be available in the meet. So bring some it you plan on sticking around for a while. McDonalds, Harvey’s, Swiss Chalet, Wendy’s, Quiznos, and many more are available right around the facility.
