hey everyone...well I hope everyone had a great time at PROP's first presentation, we will be having more informative sessions! PROP is having another auction June 5th, so mark your calenders! I am expecting a large turn out, so start fragging and saving your stuff! I will be bringing some nicer exotic sps frags(personal) and some other items. I want this thread to contain only items that are for sale and if you could provide a pic and a description along with a simple "how to care" info. I will start another thread for "wanted items"....please do not "clog" up this thread with wanted items. Remember the better pic and description you can give for your items the more people will bid on it. Also when you bring items for auction...that pays for some of your buying goods too! PROP will also have a general store which will sell(not auction) some dry goods at great prices. Some of these items will include fish bags, fragging glue and "super calcium" additive. Thanks and start posting your items!

The PROP general store will offer "super calcium" additive, fragging glue and various sizes of fish bags(also the new breathable bags!). Sorry but I do not wish to post prices due to RC rules. PM/EM me to discover what they are or visit www.bestfrags.com .....that's our new home!

I'll be bringing a few feather duster clusters:

http://www.xtalworld.com/Aquarium/dusters1.jpg

And some xenia:

http://www.xtalworld.com/Aquarium/xenia.jpg

At this point, that will be all. With my recent zo disease, I don't want to risk anyone's tank by offering them right now. I haven't lost any more zos the last couple weeks, but I want to make sure.

K, I guess I'll go first. (Oops, second Crystal beat me)

So far, I have:
~3/4" frag of my brown polyp gorg (1 frag)
10-12 polyps of greenish outer ring, orange mouth zoos (2 seperate frags)
20-25 polyps, 1/2 greenish w/ orange mouths, 1/2 green w/ purple mouth zoos (1 frag)
10-15 polyps, Teal blue w/ lime green mouth zoos(1, maybe 2 frags)
If I can find time, I will also have some purple clove polyps.
I'll try to throw some pics up tomorrow.

:D

I must have ESP.

I was perusing the tank trying to figure out what else I need to get rid of, and looks like I may also have another giant teal/green hairy mushroom. These things are huge. Probably 6" across when open all the way:

I have a couple of those that I got from someone else, same exact kind, and they are truely beautiful mushrooms, they look soooo cool, and they are huge!

I also might have a loose frag or two of green/pink sinularia, about 2" when open.

I will also be bringing a couple bags (or tupperware containers :) ) of "strombus grazer" or columbellid (sp?) snails.

These little guys get about 1/2" long max and they breed like crazy.

They are great algae grazers and are fun to watch. The babies are very cute as well. They start out as tiny little white snail-shaped dots. :)

Anyone interested in blue zoanthids? There are some from reeftopia which aren't for sale on the site at this time due to hi demand....

Hi Everyone,

I just fragged my huge sarco (toadstool mushroom) this afternoon. I will have 10 nice frags all mounted on pieces of live rock for the auction next week.

Wanted to let everyone know that the frag that I did of the orange ric did not make it.(It was my first time fraging anything) It is alive but shrunk and not very nice so I will not be bringing it. But I do have several xenia that I was able to frag and attach to a small shell so will bring those. Karen

I have a change in my list...

I will have-
one rock with about 25-30 teal blue zoos w/ lime green mouths.
(I'm copying Crystal's zoo packs)
I have one zoo pack with a ~5 polyps yellow skirt, orange center, and one rock (~15 polyps) with a combo of greenish with peachish mouth, and greenish with purple mouth.
One pack with about 10 polyps of yellow with green mouths, and about 10 polyps of the greenish with peachish mouths.
And one last pack with 3 polyps teal blues with lime green mouths, and about 7 of the peachish ones.

My gorg frag decided to detach and float into never never land, so I won't have that, the clove polyps are being feircely protected by my 3 clowns, so I don't want to disturb those (plus fragging them is a huge PITA, the sinularia did the same as my gorg, and the yellow toadstool didn't make it. (I know, excuses, excuses)

PROP will not have any of its corals available for auction at this meeting. When frags do become available, they will be posted in advance of the auction along with pics.

I won't be bringing any frags from PROP corals, but I do plan on bringing a few frags from some of my own personal SPS collection. I will try to get pictures posted later. Two that I know I will be bringing will be a nice lt. blue/lavender tipped stag and a light tealish acro with pinkish tips.

Ok, these are lousy pics but this gives you a general idea. I will have one or two frags of each of these for the auction:

Here is a pic of my teal blue zoos. My cam sucks, but gives you an idea this is an old pic too.-

And, it turns out that my clowns are deathly afraid of nets:D, so I will have a frag of these. They are more purple than this, however, my cam cannot show true colors, same goes for the zoos

I don't have pics of anything else, but figured I'd throw these up.

randy gottler
06/04/2004, 07:28 PM
Okay, I've got lots of these olive green with orange center zoos. Three pieces: two about four inches across and 1 about two and a half inches across. There growing like crazy so I'd be happy to just give them away. Any takers?
