I used it for only 5-6 months last year when I had some small Koi in my pond. I then decided I didn't want to take care of an outside freshwater aquarium, so I went with the "water only" pond. I also have a brand new, still in the box UV replacement bulb. ($30 new) Here's some info:
Compact UV and Bio Pond Filter - Meant for small to medium ponds, this low profile filter guarantees crystal clear water and is easily camouflaged in even the smallest garden. Multi size inlet - 3/4" or 1", Outlet size - 1-1/4". 7" H x 14-1/4" W x 9-1/2" D. 8 watt for ponds up to 1,000 gallons, 300 gph pump; and 16 watt for ponds up to 2,000 gallons, 300 gph pump.
