Howard, I've tried countless times to email you and have never heard back. :( I would really like to become an active member.

Why the cold shoulder?

I have been hearing this alot latlely. I have a small problem with SPAM and when I feel I have had enough, I just click "delete all". I have recently set up the spam filtering in the last week and I think that this is helping.

But Im here for you.
Howard

Hi Jeff,

LVMAS Meetings are posted on LVMAS.ORG (click on the calendar). Its easier to just post there incase something changes. Hard to go to all of the boards to update. get confusing for most. This is way I no longer post any dates on the boards.

Nanighan,

OH! There is no "trying to get this Las Vegas going" I have been at this for almost 5 years with next to no help and Im still working on it solo. But everyone wants me to keep up the good work.

So the more I have going on, the more this gets put on the back burner. But remain some what hopeful. but you can mail in to do paypal if you want to join Info on the website.

Howard, sorry about getting to excited there. I didn't think such an organization is ran by a single person. That said it seems there are many more people interested lately. Hopefully we can work together and possibly get some of the load off you.

In fact, if there are people who would like to pay the memvership and be on "The Board" That would REALLY be welcomed! No one has ever shown any interest. So Never had the option to vote in anyone into positions.

Now that is something I would be willing and quite happy to do. :)

Any day is fine by me as long as I have a few days notice. I make my own hours so I am lucky in that regard. :)

I'll be sure to PM some more LV reefers I know if we would like to have a larger group. Yes, no? Not sure what Howard feels is best.

Thanks for all of the responce. I have your emails and will set something up Meeting at the Shark reef for Coffee is fine. I will plan something for Saturday the 15th around 3pm or so. The more people the better. I dont want Amy thinking Im a wierdo. Please come with your own ideas and thoufghts. I will be happy to give you all a heads up on what has been done so far and where Id like to see things go. This would require more than a one man show. Further, there will be no pressure and certainly NO expectations of anyone that shows (club members or not).

I have several concerns Id like to run past you. One topic is the monthly bulk buys, the second is the LFS problem and 3rd, a realistic direction of the club. I am open to anything else you may have on your mind. We can meet in the Shark Reef Bar and go from there.

Ha! I would not think you are a wierdo Howard. :p

All sounds good to me. Looking forward to the day we can all meet up.

Thanks Amy, wow that is really cheap. I would think donations are a must to do all those activities.

No problem Ron. :D It is very cheap IMHO & IME. We should all bring our ideas when we meet about how to riase funds to allow for LVMAS to stay strong.

Gonna PM ya RK, be on the look out. :p

Howard, I/We apologize for not showing up at the shark reef. It seemed the time you posted was tentative. I guess I/we was looking for confirmation, before the date. I hope you didn't drink to much while you were waiting. ;)

That sounded about as tentative as it gets to me. I don't see how it could have been read as definite. I thought the reason for the emails was to confirm the above date and time? http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/contrib/sarge/Oogle_anim.gif

I'm glad I was not the only one.

Perhaps I stated it more clear and concisely in the LVMAS Newsletter I sent out later that after noon. It doesn't matter anymore anyway.

TippyToeX

It would have been good to know that we needed to sign up for that newsletter to know the date/time for sure. http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/contrib/owen/ashamed.gif

But your right, it doesn't matter now. :)
