nitrite help

My tanks been testing right on or really close on everything but nitrite, is there any additives or tricks i can do to help it go down?
any imput would be very helpful. thanks.

Your nirtrite will not go down until your bacteria level are high enough to convert to nitrate. What are you using for filtration? How long has the tank been set up? There is nothing you can do for now but just wait.

Ive had it running with running with ls for 3 weeks and ls and lr for 2. the growth on the live rock is really looking good, to me anyway. i'm using the filter that was given to me a tetratec 300, have you heard of it?

Its still just going through its cycle. You are only at part 2. keep checking every other day or so, it will go down and nitrates will go up. when the nitrates go back down, you will be ready for your clean up crew.

You probably have at least another 1-2 weeks of high nitrite. Patience is the hardest part right now.
