How are photographs selected for the magazine?

I pick them out. The authors usually provide their own, though.

Skipper, With running the risk of sending you too many pics, do you know ahead of time what pics you are looking for in future issues?

MM: generally, I don't know ahead of time. I'm always on the lookout for beautiful shots to go on the Table of Contents page, though.

My ratio is about 1000 good shots to one epic shot. I'm still enrolled in the 3rd grade of the Gregr school of photography! So be patient. MM
