Safe or not???

I was wondering if anyone knows if it is safe to use SEACHEMS AMGUARD product in a fish/reef system. My amonia is up due to some new fish and extra feeding to help with the ick they got. Thanks for your help!!!

there is a sponge i always see at the LFS that says it reduces ammonia but i cant think of the name. i think that those amguard type products are ok, i used to use amquil on my FO. i have never heard anything bad about them for the reef. i know in my case they make my skimmer go on the fritz so i dont use them anymore.

Im not a big fan of adding chemicals to the tank personally.
I would do a little water change and let your biological filter finish off the ammonia.
You said the ammonia was up, does that mean its now readable, or is it fairly high?

Yeah I would also just stick with some water changes to bring the levels down.
