Step away from the keyboard and put the mouse down. IMPHO, these are one of the biggest POS items on the market today. I made the mistake of ordering one. It was supposed to have two outlets, it only had one. After being promised that I would be receiving a new two outlet head for more than 2 months, I was told that two outlet heads were not coming in and I could return it if I wanted. I decided to keep it and within two weeks, it was toast. It is VERY LOUD and poorly constructed.

Spending money on Mark Weiss products would be a better investment than these things. :D

I forgot to mention the way these things are mounted. They aren't mounted at all. It comes with a sheet of paper that states (paraphrasing) you are to drill a hole in a piece of acrylic and lay the piece of acrylic across your tank.
