Interesting stuff, isn't this similar to or the same as DT phyto? A cheaper alternative?

ocplanb - LIVE Ocean Plankton - 200 mls - A mixture of ocean plankton caught 'raw' including a variety of organisms from 50 microns - to 1000 microns. FREE PRIORITY SHIPPING $12.95

Is this the same as a pod kit but way cheaper?

occopea - LIVE Ocean Copepods - 200 mls - A Nice mixture of ocean plankton skewed towards copepods. Organisms from 50 microns - to 1000 microns in size. FREE PRIORITY SHIPPING $14.95

izsabelle,
get that seahorse tank going! found some food for them.

**NEW** mysid100 - In Lots of 100 - Mysidopsis bahia - Tiny MYSID OPOSSUM Shrimp - up to 1/4 inch in size. Used primarily for feeding finicky Marine tropicals and seahorses. There maybe other species of small shrimp in the mix, but most are bahia and all about the same size. FREE PRIORITY SHIPPING $18.95

I still have the two Via Aqua 10 gal nano tanks available. I think they would make nice seahorse tanks because they are tall and the built-in wet-dry filter produces a pretty gentle current. Plus, the smaller volume means that the seahorses will have an easier time hunting their food.

I read all this from seahorse forums since I was kind of thinking about using them as seahorse tanks but I don't have the time now because I just set up a scenic 25 gal Mt. Xenia tank.

The whole unit is self-contained except for the heater, just add water and livestock. It is also covered so there is minimal evaporation. Overall, a very convenient and nice looking setup.

If anyone is interested, they could try out the tanks, ie free trial period since the tanks are just sitting there no doing much. :)

I could throw in a nice 25W Visi-therm heater for $5.

just out of curiosity, how much $ would you want for one of them? i'm entertaining the idea of setting up an all-algae tank that will be primarily kept outside (natural sunlight) in order to grow macro for my tangs.. got the idea from the encino frag meet

you can pm the price.

Via Aqua 10g tanks for trade, Sacramento
Hi,

I have 2 (two) Via Aqua AR 380 10 gallon tanks for trade. I'm looking for about 20 to 40 lbs of LR, but I might be interested in other stuff too, just let me know.

These are very elegant curved glass tanks.

Blue-ish purple tank. Has a 13W 50/50 HelloLights PC bulb in a Bookworm/Bayco retrofit. I have been able to grow GSP and rics with this light.

Orange tank. Stock 18W(?) NO lights. Pump is slighty noisy, ie don't put it in your bedroom and you'll be fine. Stock configuration, see link below.

Since this month's MARS will be on nano's. I could bring it to this month's MARS meeting if anyone wants to check them out or trade for stuff.

You can see details about this tank at:

Current Tanks: 12 and 25 SW. 55 FW
Interests: Church, internet, home improvement
