hooking up chiller

i just got a chiller and need some ideas on how to hook it up.
any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks dave s.

What kind of chiller? It makes a difference if it is drop in or flow through type. I will assume it is a flow through. In this case you will need to supply water to it by means of a pump or gravity from the main display. The problem with gravity is the uncertainty in flow through the chiller. I drilled my sump, added another bulkhead, and used an external pump. I then used vinyl tubing to and from the chiller. This allows me to remotely locate the chiller. In conversation I had with a rep at Aqualogic the distance of 30' would have little ill effect on the performance of their chillers. At any rate, pretty cut and dry. Just gotta push water through it and hook up the controller.
