View Full Version : how about a "greatest hits" thread section?

I just read a great thread on "Caring for Sponges in our tanks", which had a lot of valuable info & discussion. I have also seen similar helpful threads on lighting, refugiums, skimmers, etc. Unfortunately, these threads are eventually buried in the pile of new threads, and although some are periodically reposted, these gems become very hard to locate.

Would it make sense to have a "greatest hits" thread section, based upon 1) number of posts, 2) number of views, and 3) applicability (to weed out the flame wars, extraneous discussion, etc)? Or, does this exist somewhere? I'm still very new to the board (been doing a lot of "lurking" to research my reentry into the hobby), so perhaps I'm missing something?

Thanks! BTW, great board!

It's a good idea and basically what the archives are there for. It's been a while since we did any archiving though. Unfortunately it's a time consuming task. Thanks for the feedback.
