Well no complaints so looks like the 17th is it. Mike will give a presentation on float switch systems and hopefully Charles will show up and give us an update on his "balls" removal. I will get Pat to post directions here in the next day or so.

Hi Guys,

The directions to my home for the April meeting are:

From 295 take the Blanding exit North. Drive to the 4th traffic light, about a mile up from 295, you will see a Texaco gas station. This is Du-Clay Road, turn Left and my home will be about 10 houses up the road to the right. 6265 Du-Clay Road.

See you there.

Just wondering if we could move this meeting date up to the 24th. I can host the meeting on the 17th as we planned but the 24th may work out better. Will this work out for everyone coming? If not we can keep it on the 17th, just let me know.

Either one will work for me.

Just found out that the Leesburg bikefest is the weekend of the 24th so that weekend is out for me.

They have been running from 2pm to around 5pm. I'm assuming that since nothing has been said that it is going to be at that time.

Guys, is there a meeting on the 17th. I mis-understood Dave's last email that the meeting was moved to first Sat in May. Is there a meeting on the 17th of April, this Saturday? Just checking.

Thanks

Andrew

Looking back over the messages, now I'm confused! I'll try to get ahold of Dave and see if the meeting date did change.

 I'm Crushed (as in Coral)! Now that I've finally found a professional fish guy, you are leaving us...bummer!! You will certainly be missed and I only got you for one meeting. The tank seems to be no worse for the wear after my recent castration and I may be starting to see evidence of less algae on the glass. Looks like the meeting has been moved to May...I'll be there.
Sorry to hear you are no longer going to be the "fish guy". Like everyone else, I am interested in some of the soft corals you may want to sell...see ya at the meeting (I hope you'll be there!)

Just to confirm....the meeting will be the 1st Sat in May (May1st) at 2:00 PM

Address is:
6265 Du-Clay Road.

Is this correct? There have been a lot of posts going back & forth.

Thanks

Hi Ya'all,
I won't be able to attend the May 1st meeting but, I wanted
to let all know I still have some large, soft "cabbage" coral and
two very large Sinularias that need new homes...anyone interested can call my home at 288-8058. Hope to see all at the next meeting (or sooner).

I just wanted to say thanks to Pat for hosting the meeting on Saturday. I also enjoyed the presentation on the home made Kalk dosser and float switch.

Hi,
Just wanted to say I appreciate the thanks and will be glad to do it again sometime. We had a good number of people and it was well worth the time invested. Hope we have another meeting within the next few months. Lets plan it soon. Need someone over in the Southside of town to do it next. Anyone want to Volunteer to host the next meeting?

Pat... Curious if your tank temp went down after removing some of your glass. Did you remove all of it??

My house is always available for a meeting if needed.

Hi, Yes, My tank temp has been about 2 degrees lower. Good suggestion. I do have to replace water more often but that can be a good thing if you are replacing with Lime water. I'm looking forward to going to Andrews house for this months meeting, when should we have it?

Hi, I did not remove the back glass. I will need to hook up a reverse/back flow unit to my tubing first. I have the back flow device but need to take the time to hook up. Then I can block off the little drain spouts that will splash onto my hood if not covered.

Do you want to host the June meeting? If so, which weekend would be good for you to host it?

Also, how about we move this conversation to the June meeting thread:
