Can anyone recommend a good website (preferably) or book for identifying creatures in an aquarium? Everytime I find a new worm, star, clam, coral, etc. stuck to some rock or in the bottom of my tank, I would like to know what it is and whether I should a) kill it, b) tell everyone about my marvelous find, or c) realize that every feather duster is not an amazing new discovery and be quiet.

There are many resources.. i would recommend starting with the posting of a pic of what it is you need help identifying. There is such a huge amount of knowledge here it is awsome.

Sprungs "Invertebrates a quick reference guide" is a pretty good one that is not very expensive. I have identified several things using it. For corals Eric Bornemans "Aquarium Corals" is a good fairly recent one. One thing to keep in mind is no book is going to have everything and the ones that are really exhaustive are pretty expensive(usually more than $100).
