is anyone going down to dave b.'s frag swap april 3rd in encino. i would like to carpool with anyone going. open to all ideas and suggestions!!!

Ah, I see Cathy and the boys are getting fed well after a long trip. ;) Good to see you got there safely. From the looks of those awesome pix, the drive was definitely worth it. Man, went all the way on till night! :eek: Those tanks were pretty well stocked.

everyone, take a look at the fourth picture.http://archive.reefcentral.com/forums/s...threadid=350196 the light resting on the top is a new t-5 from helios which have waterproof endcaps and apparently the fixture. o2manyfish was kind enough to do a demonstation where he sumerged the end of it up to 10 inches. it happened after someone was telling him how they were concerned it would fall in! o2manyfish replied with "what like this" i had him repeat it for my camera!

the new tank o2manyfish put up this past week has over 100 corals in it already. taken from his outdoor prop tank.

there was truly something for all! alot of diversity in the group!

I was able to put faces to all the names. my kids even did too! they met the guy who does the voice of sponge bob!

i was able to pick up some nice corals off of even nicer people!

it was interesting to see how everyone had thier corals displayed for viewing! from a lady with an large anemone in a bowl to full on portable setups including light fixtures pumps heaters all self contained.

they had foods of all kinds! the grill was manned very well. as i was leaving the halibit hit the grill! i already ate my fill to last me all the way home!;)

i will be attending again so if anyone is interested we can start planning now! the next one should be around july.

this of course is the rated G version of my trip ;)

Shawn.. I just read through the other thread.. hope the frags you picked up are as nice (if not nicer) then the ones in the pics..

did you get to see the SEIO pump? in action?
