I have a black spiney urchin(up to 6" spines), a tuxedo urchin, and a sabae anenome(purple tips ~8" accross, healthy but has been more tan than white for most of the time I have owned him.)
All have been in tank for more than 7mos.

What kind of lighting do you have the anenome under?

he's under 250w de abs and 2 vho actinics. He's made his home in the bottom corner of a 24" deep tank. I too wondered if it was a light issue

I am interested in the urchin. Do you come to the C-SEA meeting? Would it be possible to meet/exchange there?

By the way, that anemone is supposed to be tan. The white ones have expelled all their zooanthellae (symbiotic algae) due to shipping stress.

Thanks for the info on the anemone. I thought it looked cool at the lfs being bright white with purple tips. It turned darker shortly after being in my tank.

I havent been to a csea meeting yet. If csea is tomorrow, friday, its not possible for me. I happen to be in Mogadore right off of 76 east. I know thats a haul for you. I might have some frags too if you are looking.

I looked up Mogadore on Yahoo maps and I don't think I want to make that trip for just an urchin. The next C-SEA meeting is Friday April 16th. I should be there. Would you be willing to hold onto the urchin until then?
