Just as an FYI, Exotic Tropicals in Rogers Arkansas has about 30-40 different clams in stock. ( I should know because as soon as I redesign the top of my hood and install the 2 new 250w MH lights I will be snapping up a small Max)

WHen you get the baby max (anything under 3 to 4 inches) be shure to feed the tank live photoplankton...its a must to keep it alive and healthy...

Thanks Scuba,

I saw this one web site where an RC member grew her own photoplankton. Didn't sound to difficult. Do you know anything about it?

Just noticed that this place has an automatic "pool ordering" "group purchases" where they set it up and everyone just contacts them with what they want. Good deal.

Phyto is pretty simple. Kayo, I'll be up in your area over the weekend. We should hook up, I'll get you what you need to get started. I talked to flame Angel extensively when I was first getting going. The hardest part of the whole thing is keeping sterile.
that clownfish book, hmm can't remember the name or the author, female, but it has great info on phyto.

Hey I order from West Coast Tropical Marine often ---- Marc is a great guy to do business with. I'm not affiliated, just a happy customer of his. He's worth a try for those who were wondering!
