Refractometer Group Buy

MARS Members-

We are going to order refractometers if there is enough interest among the clubs. We need to get 20 (min) on order to do a group buy. The price should be in the neighborhood of $35 for each, good quality refractometer. This is the RC-10-ATC model; nice viewfinder with temp compensation. So if you are interested in buying one; please reply to this thread and I will begin building a list of people who want one.

You are not required to be a club member to be part of the group buy; but please be local to the SF Bay Area (local pickup only).

I hate my coralifie hydrometer! I swear it takes minutes off of my life instead of accurately telling me the salinty of my tank.

We are getting close to being able to order. I am just waiting to get confirmation with our supplier that he will be able to get a large order in/available to us soon. I have obtained an account for BARE and have a paypal setup now. I will post that info as soon as I have heard back from our supplier.

With all the brooha that's been going on, I wanted to make sure this still happened because I knew there were people waiting on it, and it had been in the air for a while. I've taken lead on this group buy and have worked out some preliminary details regarding pricing and such. Same price will apply ($35.00) and there is probably an option for free shipping if we have them all shipped to one location and then distribute from there. I will be more than willing to meet someone from MARS half way in between in order to get these units distributed. Anywho, here are the people that listed as being interested. Okay everyone. I'm about to wrap up this group buy. If you didn't get your order in, please get it in today as I'm letting Jason know we're done as of 5pm today. Many appologies for not putting this together sooner, but today is the first day I've had off since last week, and I decided to sleep the entire day!! Oh MAN it felt good to just do nothing.. Okay, this is what I have in the way of information on this. I've gotten emails from a fair percentage of the people involved when they placed their purchase, which was great. I also have a list that Jason at Premium Aquatics has put together for me of the people that he has listed for the order. Now he is going to be shipping the Central Valley reefers club their 20 units directly because they managed to get a large enough order to get free shipping directly. Thos of you who had yours shipped to you directly, I'll bet you already got them, and those of you who orderd other items at the same time, THAT was the way to go. Jason has a huge inventory..

Moving onward. Like I said, here is the info that I have both from you directly, and from Jason. So I'll need some help matching up names to make sure the right units go the right direction. If you do NOT see your name, and you have placed your order, please let me know asap. If you sent me a PM regarding this, it's likely thats why I don't have the info in this list because I was trying to keep PMs for questions about the order, and I wanted to be emailed after you ordered. Anywho, we're almost there. I'm going to talk with Jason tomorrow to get an ETA for our order and the CVR order. If you have any questions, feel free to ask or shoot me an email or a PM.
