Hey all,
I'll see ya in the meeting!
Anyway, I noticed my emerald crab doing this two fisted claw thing on my porites rock today...he was taking small bits of the coral into his mouth (I would do the little actions but sean wouldn'' be able to see me through the computer) So I shooed him away. Should I be worried???

I have had several emerald crabs and most are model citizens but I have had a couple that went bad. They would eat coral polyps. If it was me I would get it out.

I have a couple that get on sps and look like they are trying to eat them. I have never seen any damage however or even see them "get a piece". If he is actually taking pieces off I would get rid of him. Maybe just trade him for another.

The bad ones I had were actually breaking small pieces off. You could see them grab a corrallite(I think that is what they are, the things that have the polyps are in the middle.) and break them off.
