Picked up my new tank today, Im short on sand however.

Anyone know of a HD that has southdown in stock this early? Or, anyone have any sand stockpiled theyd like to sell?

You could check the HD on S27th street in Franklin, 414-304-1024. I haven't been there lately so give them a call, they used to have it.

Thanks much, the HD in Racine was being a pain last week and just telling me they didnt know if they had it because their outdoor section was closed for winter.

Wow, I think racine is just lazy then, they keep telling me they wont bring it in, or they cant check if they have it etc.

Thanks for the tips guys, I tried the one in cedarburg and They did'nt have any. Maybe too early? I hope they get some or I'll be heading to Kohler very soon.

I've got about 40 pounds of it from my disassembled tank. Not live anymore :(

You can have it if you want to pick it up in Mequon.

It is southdown sand. I got it at home depot a few years ago.

pssst! home depot in Kohler has (as of thursday 3/18) about 20 bags of southdown. it's 7$ a bag. get it while it lasts.

I bought 500 pounds of southdown from the HD on hwy 18 in Waukesha. They dude messed up and only charged me $2.42 a bag. I've still got 300 pounds in my garage. I'd be willing to trade locally for some live sand. :)
