Anyone know of a retailer that sells these little guys at a reasonable price?

Are you trying to feed seahorses? George sells them at a pretty reasonable price. You can find all the info on seahorse.org.

Basically he farms shrimps for the sushi industry, but has started doing custom sizes for seahorse keepers. Very nutritious because he gut loads them and has to meet FDA requirements.

Last I heard it was $19 for a 100 (I think). You can keep them in a tank away from preditors and they will breed, but you'll have to gut load them yourself.

Exotic used to sell them up by the register. Not sure if they still have them.

Thanks for the help. I was just looking for a local retailer and I found one the other night. I had no idea that O street sells 25 for 4$. Yes, these will be for H.Erectus and I wanted to purchase a few locally as treats.

Thanks.

Still on the search for more caulerpa or chaeto.

Exotic has them for 6/$1 which is 24/$4...

Also they often have certain species of caulerpa available for sale.

They may want to reconsider selling the caulerpa. It is illegal to possess in CA - California assembly bill 1334

i remember a while ago dan garcia had a list of which ones were legal. it seemed only around 3-4. the list was from the fish and game. but that is a great point. we don't want to introduce any invasive species.
