I'm looking for a used glass tank with a 96"X 18" foot print. I've checked eBay but there is nothing near by.

Brian- Craigslist in the bay area always has a tanks listed. Here's a couple of 96" tanks, but they're both 24"W and acrylic, rather than glass. 18"er might be hard to come by in that length.

I picked up a 6 foot long 240, propagation tank, last month in North Hollywood. It took me a good two months to find what I wanted and I was fortunate that I was going to Baja and was able to pick it up.

Good Luck! -Robert

Thanks for the tip. I'll start checking Craigslist too. I went by Pet Connection yesterday. Rob can get glass aquariums that are a half circle on one end. They are designed to have one narrow end against the wall and the other rounded narrow end out. It is a nice look for a room divider.

Sorry Shawn, I didn't take it with the tank. Joe kinda wanted it to recycle for something else, and it was only two sided to cover up the front and one side so I didn't have a need for it.

BTW, anyone interested in a Oceanic 60x18x24 with a built in overflow in the left rear corner and a tempered glass front. Only drawback is it has some scratches in the front pane of glass. If you can use a tank with a tempered glass front, $800 is a good price. Feel free to e-mail me if you are interested.

He said around $700 if he can get it.

That is a great price for a glass tank with a rounded end.

Brian, I bought my 120 from Rob. I had it custom built to fit on old stand I refinished. Tank turned out nice. Only wish I would have gone bigger.

Rob does get some unusual stuff. These tanks are being shipped from China. Apparently, glass tanks with a rounded end are common there.
