Pet Connection on Auburn Blvd. usually has them. The LFS's usually have a bunch of the really small ones. Make sure you pick the largest most active fish. Really small Hippo tangs have a poor rate of survival.

If you get a 'medium' sized tang you won't have problems as long as it is a healthy specimen. I purchased one of the little ones four or five years ago and it didn't make it. After looking into it I found that they have a high mortality rate when small. I'll probably visit a couple LFS's this weekend. If I see something that looks healthy I'll let you know.

Man, I've been looking for one now for months. It must be out of season for those things 'cause no one local has had them for a long time.

Be for you lecture, I have kept Idols before (for 3 three years). I know they are tough.

they had two Paracanthurus hepatus not two Acanthrus coeruleus. Sorry for the confusion.
