wounded tang

I purchased a little yellow tang today and just noticed that one of his eyes is pierced or something. I is bigger than his other eye and all cloudy. I am not sure if this happened in my tank or at the fish store. He is with a little triangular trigger, little bangai and two medium clarki clowns. None of the fish seem to react to him so One. im not sure how it happened and Two. what should I do? will he survive?

Put him in a Q tank and treat with Nitrofuran or Maracyn II (SW version). If treated promptly this usually responds well.

This can often occur has a secondary infection from handling as well as from a fight with another fish.
