Here are the actual pH values for calibration fluid labeled 7.01 and 10.01 at the following Temps in degrees F

59.....7.04/10.12

68.....7.03/10.06

77.....7.01/10.01

86.....7.00/9.96

95.....6.99/9.92

For example, when you calibrate your meter, you set your pH meter for cailbration fluid at 10.01, but at 68 degrees it is actually 10.06. The higher end seems to change the most. Does this actually make much difference between room temp calibration fluid and your tank temp, probably not much, but I thought you might want to see this.

Thanks, last night I heated my calibration fluid to tank temp in the sealed containers, and re-calibrated. The low end on my checker was off the most. The upper end was close. Thanks for the helpful advice. The amount miscalibration causes it to be off is not enough that I will freak out. Now I just need to mix up the borax so I have the proper reference to make sure I dont have a unit that is say .2 off all the time. Once I sort that out I think I can rely on it.
