I am upgrading my 55gallon reef to 100 and am thinking about keeping and octo in the 55 gallon... About a month ago I read every single post on this board and the webpages that it refers to. They seem like incredible animals.

I was wondering if feeding live prawns would be a good idea. The market up the street from me carries live prawns almost all the time and they are too expensive. I thought this may be a good way of keeping the octopus active. I guess the question is twofold, one will the octopus like this type of food? and two will the prawns survive in the tank (I think the water that the prawns are in is fairly cold)?

Thanks

chris
