For those of you who haven't gone yet, go, now. It's incredible!! I had tears in my eyes the whole time. It made me miss the GBR soo much. It really is one of the most amazing things I have seen in a while. And for those Crosby, Stills and Nash fans you'll be pleased too.
Now I am going to go dream about my dives on the GBR swimming next to bommies bigger then my house, while you guys go to the IMAX!

IMAX is 8.50 and $1 off with a aquarium membership. Roundtrip to OZ varies. $1,100 - $1,400 depending on season. It is alot cheeper to live over there though. For instance I would get an electric bill once every three months and it was about $15 US. Aquariums are much cheeper to run over there too.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is crazy, all my aquariums have jacked my mom and dad's electric to 140 a month...... oops

Well, hopefully I won't need round trip but one way.... I won't want to leave, I know it.

yike $140.00 for electricity
maybe we all should invest in a small nuclear reactor that site right next to your tanks. :D

I'm planning to go to the IMAX in a couple of weeks

Since i'm just running VHO (11hrs) on my tank, I figured that I added an extra 30 bucks to my current electric bill.

Well I'm running 300 watts VHO over the 38 gallon, and 175 watts of MH over 5 gallon. And numerous pumps to plumb everything in. Hey, during the winter I love the extra lights, keeps my room nice and warm. But in the summer I have to put a computer fan in the airconditioning vent to pull cool air from the other rooms to mine....:eek1: I'm sure my lights do a number on the electric bill in the summer..... LOL

But my mom can't say anything since she spends hundreds on stuff that just sits around the house and my dad dosn't say anything since he is a marine biologist and thinks it's cool. So I guess I can get away with it. lol

LOL good point. It helps to have a parent thats into reefing :)

I'm still trying to convince my wife add a 250w MH over my tank, plus a CA reactor, plus more coral, plus more live rock, plus more stuf.........

well, if yo need a ride let me know I could go see it again. I also want to see the golapagos (sp?) 3-D. I think they play back to back too. You get a discount if you go to a double feature.
