COASTAL AQUARIUM SOCIETY

TIME: WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2004, 7:30PM

PLACE: PRITZKER MARINE BIOLOGY BUILDING
NEW COLLEGE OF SARASOTA
SARASOTA, FLORIDA

PROGRAM: Dominica Coral Farm by Lou Foxwell (Father Fish to you). Very strict federal regulations prevent the harvesting of "live rock" in waters of the USA. Many other areas are fostering live rock cultivation in – of all places, the ocean! Lou is affiliated with an outfit attempting to set up a "farm" in the ocean to grow coral and live rock. He has made two trips to Dominica and will
bring back film of his activities. This is the next best thing to flying
there and diving into the ocean. It promises to be a good rogram. Bring a friend.

DOOR PRIZES ** RAFFLE ** AUCTION ** REFRESHMENTS

>PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:
Greetings Fellow Fish Nuts.
>I am writing this in Dominica, a small island off the coast of Venezuela. My work is with a coral farm. I will return on Feb 2, just in time for our Feb meeting. With any luck I will have movies from my trip and explain the farm's activities.
