Which come first the goby or the shrimp?

My girlfriend is wanting a yellow watchman goby & pistol shrimp combo. Which does she need to buy first? Or should she get them both at the same time? Thanks in advance for any and all help.

PS I hope to be able to join the club soon, if everything works out.

I don't think it matters honestly.

I am about to add a goby to a shrimp, but I think it would work either way. The problem is if you have a huge tank sometimes they can't find each other. I am gonna have to direct my goby toward the hole where my shrimp is. But I did this previously (years ago) and the goby immediately went the complete opposite direction as I had wanted it to. Well they actually did find each other anyways.

So as far as I know it doesn't matter.

yeah dont think it matters eather way im thinking about getting that combo dang dr fosters and smith they had a small articile in there new book on that lol

Certain ones do not pair with gobies. So be careful of that.

I would go with either a tiger or randalls.

Maybe other people know of good ones too.
