This is the 175 bowfront setup that I helped set up for George (the owner of the smokehouse across the street from The Fish Barn). It's been running for 3 months now and he has just started putting some corals and fish in it a few weeks ago. This tank is going to be awesome!!!!

Here are the specs:

175 gal. Oceanic Bowfront
90 gallon sump
45 gallon refugium
Hamilton Reef Star 250 watt HQI DE halide pennants w/ Coralvue 20k bulbs
Ice cap 430 ballast with 4- 18" URI 30 watt VHO's (mainly for dawn-dusk simulation)
4 - 4" Ice Cap fans in canopy
Red Sea wavemaker w/ 2-Maxijet 1200's and 2 - 600's
E.T.S.S. 600 skimmer w/ Iwaki 30 pump
Custom Sealife 36 watt Double Helix UV Sterilizer
Liter Meter III top off pump w/ remote pumps for dosing B-Ionic

Frank,
That is another beautiful setup. I'd recognize your work anywhere. You've got a very distinct 'signature'. Something to be proud of. We should have one of our future meetings there. Reef talk, dinner, reef talk, drinks, reef talk, dessert, reef talk

It looks awesome Frank!

How much live rock is in the tank? Looks like a good amount.

Great work!

Sweet! I wish that I had a sump room! Frank, is that at The Smokehouse or his home?

Yeah Guys,

that's the tank I wanted to have in my home!:p He has between 250 & 300 lbs of LR in that beauty!! Oh yeah, BTW, he has been dosing that Reef Vital DNA stuff (that most people think is crap) and has unbelievable coralline!!!

This tank is in his house. I am trying to get him to host a meeting. No luck yet. Maybe Bob H. and Bob B. can help out by breaking his stones a little too!!

As far as I'm concerned that coralline had better be all sorts of beautiful colors and not just purple and pink. I hate the stuff.
Now if it didn't adhere to glass then that would be a different story.
