I wanted to feed my yellow tang garlic to help him overcome ich. I guess the other fish will anlso eat it too.

I was wanting to know if I've prepared it correctly though...
I got a couple of garlic cloves, pulverized them in a garlic crusher, and dripped the garlic juice into a small eggcup. I then added a frozen food cube into the eggcup, then covered it, and left it in the fridge overnight.

Can I just feed them the thawed food cube now? Or do I need to risne and strain it?
I'm just a little cautious on adding garlic like that to a reef, because it's so potent and smelly

Most people I'm aware of usually find a comercial source of garlic oil, typically at a health food store. Your the first person that I've heard of preparing thier own fresh garlic juice.

Based on my own trials with prepared garlic oil, I would say just go ahead and add the garlic soaked food.

I would be very interested in knowing how it works out for you. Might be a good excuse to plant more garlic in the garden ;)
