Plz... I'd take a frag out about every one of those corals skip. LOL

I know Jackie, I so wish that fish could do the same in our tanks..... but unless your tank is about 20ftlong, 20ft wide, and 5 ft deep you won't really be able to grow corals that large and keep schools of fish that large..... LOL

sounds like a neat project. I think we should try it. Anyone know how to join glass like that. 20x20x5 huh 14961 I think you might have some problems getting 3 watts per gallon. I think I would have a problem with paying utility bills for 15 400watt hallides. Plus at that depth you would have to get about 22441.5lbs of live rock. and about 15000lbs of sand that leaves us with 12238 gallons of water volume we would need a 1224 gallon tank just to do a ten percent water change. huh you know I don't think this sounds very good anymore.

If you had the money and space to set a tank like that up then the other expenses wouldn't be a factor since you would have to be loaded in the first place. Besides, I am not sure that 400 watt MHs would be enough, you would probably need to upgrade to 1000s for the depth. Where we live NSW would be the way to go, you would need to treat it like they do at the SC Aquarium but that is just part of the deal. Skip
