Looks like a good start. :)

Just one tip though for picture taking. Generally the lighting on the tank is intense enough that use of the flash is unnecessary, and it actually makes the pictures look worse (washes out all the colors, glare on the glass, etc).

Try a couple with the flash off and see how they come out.

Nice, what kind of camera are you using please?

HI Jackie, the camera is a Polaroid PDC640. We got it on ebay for about $70, just took alot of watching to get usually they go for around $100. It has been reconditioned. Thinking about getting another one that has a zoom on it for better pic. taking of the Reef Tank.

Hello. For the lighting we have a 30 inch pc/moon-lite. The box says 1-10,000k premium daylight, 1 ultra actinic and 2 moon lites. The light is nice how it has the daylight and night time phases and it is growing everything well. Although with the light we cant have some of the nice corals we see and no clam. :(
