YIKES! Found scary crab!

We came across this monster in our tank and what the hell is it? It looks like something out of the movie Predator or Aliens. It almost looks like it has 2 mouths and 4 sets of horns - blends in with LR perfectly almost couldn’t even see it. 8 legs and 2 hands with claws this guy is scary - i touched it and all his claws mouths horns opened and he looked like he was going to attack - I am going to say bad for now unless anyone can ID him as reef safe (or human safe for that matter). Heres a couple pics - they arent very good as my camera sucks but look at them and see if anyone can ID this guy...

I have a couple others in my refuge but they don't look like that one. He looks wicked.

you may want to try posting this in one of the dr forums I bet they could give you a positive id on those pics. Or at least a good idea.

Hey, I saw that crab in an old movie last night called Attack Of The Crab Monsters.

holy crab/.. id better get rid of it before it grows that big...
well.. i just picked up a rock and there it was.. i dont know how i was it.. it was perfectly the color fo the rock.. even looked like ti had some coralline on it!
however.. yesterday i found a molt in the tank of the exact same crab.. so.. either its an old molt.. or i have moe of them in there...

Well seems like people like injecting things with kalk paste :P Maybe try that to get rid of it :>
