Hat's off to Timbo for top off device

Today I received and set up my top off device that Tim made for me. The only word that I can think of at this moment is FANTASTIC! :p It not only met my reqirements, but far exceeded them. The quality of construction is excellent. It is very carefully hand crafted. One can see that Tim puts a lot of pride in his work. It works just like my larger Nurce, but is just the right size for my 7 gal bowfront mini. Thanks again Tim, job well done.:D

Congrats King, how long does the h2o last. Im curious, I have a home made topoff but would like something that looks a little better. Also can you dose kalkwasser through it?

Don't know how long it will last yet. Today is the first day. I would venture to guess at least two weeks or more. It holds about 2 gallons. The way it't constructed, it appears that you can dose Kalkwasser. I guess we need to ask Tim though. I'm just using ro/di. I was dripping Kalk, but I think I will start using 2 part B-Ionic. I use that exclusively in my 13 gal.:D

I don't know how you can get on his list, but installataion is a snap. Took about 20 minutes to fully assemble and to function on my mini reef. He sends detailed instructions. :D

Totally forgot to mention that the top off is fine for use with kalk guys, just mix it up in there and let it settle before you activate it again. The output tube is about an inch from the bottom of the top off for that purpose.
