Skimmer ID

I just got this skimmer from a friend, who never has used it (not sure why he bought it). I was wondering if anyone knows anything about it. He wants 450.00 for it (it does have a nice pump with it). I can decided to buy it or not, it does look big and well built.

well its a mazzei injector which i like and have had good luck with in the past.... but as far as half of the plumbing on it, got me lost... look to be a bit overbuilt ... I like the "kiss" rule.....

I'm 99% sure it is a lifereef VS series. Compare it on their web site www.lifereef.com

I agree looks like a lifereef. The top carbon cap, the tube attached to the venturi and the whole design makes it look like a VS series lifereef skimmer. as KenT stated.

Thanks for the input. I think I found my answer it's a life reef. Anyone ever used one of these?

Lifereef makes quality stuff. Haard to go wrong if the price is right.

I had a VS72 on my 180. Worked great. You can operate it in several diff. configurations. Easy to clean. Good luck with it.

I got a life reef and Im extreamly pleased with it's performance. I looked into alot of skimmers before I setteled on the life reef.
