Okay Everyone,

A new feature here! A meeting recap of the MASLAC monthly fish geek gathering.

First of all, we had a very good attendance on our first Saturday night meeting! Everyone seemed to have a good time. Todd Moore gave a great presentation on aiptasia, followed by Adrienne and J.T. from Sea Dwelling Creatures, who discussed various reef compatible fishes and their selection.

Our raffle featured some cool prizes ranging from a retro-fit PC lighting system, to an R.O. Unit, an acrylic sump, and some nice looking livestock, not to mention the "mystery" halide bulbs. (heh!heh!heh!)

We also renewed many memberships, and gained one new member!!!

Remember: Next month's meeting is back to Friday, February 13, so that everyone can celebrate Valentine's Day with their significant others on Saturday. This is only for the month of February! We will resume Saturday meeting's commencing in March.

There is a lot going on in MASLAC this year, so be a part of it and join, or renew today!!!

Regards,
Scott F.

nicholasvilppu, you don't have to join to go to a meeting. Come on down and check it out and see what you think. But, be warned, by the end of the meeting you will want to join.

Be prepared as Scott said, to meet:some of the best fish geeks in Los Angeles.
