Hi all my 10 year old son has decided he wants a tank in his room. I am looking for a setup with tank, stand, and filtration. Lights are not a big deal, i will add them if need be. I want a 55-100 gallon for him. I will drive for the tank no problem. if you have one or know of one, please let me know,
thanks in advance,
Ken

You might consider a 75 over a 55. It's more stable, not just in water chemistry terms but also in terms of being tipped over by a child or the child's friends. Being only 12+inches from the wall, 55's are easily tipped by a short person unwisely lifting themselves up on the stand to see into the tank.

I saw this one a trading post from Christmas. Maybe it's till around. Sounds like it would be worth a drive, a 90 with a 50 gallon sump.

Did you get the 90 gallon set up? I may be interested if you went with the 75 instead.

The guy never called me back on that 90gal setup. I am still looking for a tank if anyone knows of one for sale.
THanks
