feeding question

I brought home my first anemone yesterday.(a long tentical). I understand they need to be fed a couple of times a wek, but how much ? should I limit it to just a couple of silversides,or keep giving them to it until it spits them back at me??

Every anemone is different in terms of feeding.

I would start with small feedings and then work your way up. Keep an eye on the anemone as if it spits out food, that means that you gave it too much or you are feeding too often.

It is going to be a trial and error thing but nothing that will compromise the health of the anemone.

Don't feed your anemone as much as it will eat unless you want a really big anemone. Growth rate is largely dependent on feeding so as long as they are eating well they will keep growing. By feed ing a reasonable amount every 3-4 days it won't grow too big but it won't shrink and die either.
BTW what lighting do you have?
