Looking for a way to keep the plastic tank's walls free from brown algae. Scared to use a snail. Those rasps are hard! :eek1:
Thanks

Only the deepest scratches will show in the Eclipse acrylic when it is full of water. I have snails all over mine with no visible signs of scratches, except what I have done.

Eventually, through cleaning the tank you will have an infinite amount of scratches, but, oddly enough, these do not show up when the tank is full of water.

Snails? No problem!!!

IMO the turbo snail is too big for a 6 gal tank. we had one in my Brother's tank and it just kept knocking stuff around. He currently has Margarita and Astrea snails in his tank and no problems with scratches on the tank. None that we can see at least
