I work on the 24th so my vote is for the 17th.

As for topic I will have to think about it and get back to him.

Skip, you good for the 17th then...Since Troy mad the last one, maybe you can make this one ;)

We need to talk about a Calcium Reactor or a Kalk Reactor, email me. minfinger@cchat.com I need one bad :(

Also, where the heck do you get 6" PVC? Is that the Blue stuff they lay down on the side of the HWY for City Water? LOL I might have to go find a Subdivision and steal some Skimmer parts.

I don't think you will find the blue pipe anyplace except for a plumbing supply house, it has bell ends (a type of slip connection) that you won't find used on normal residential applications. How much do you need? I may have a connection if its not too big of a peice. I am not sure if the blue pipe is the same size as standard 6" PVC pipe, so the fittings may or may not work. I do know that the Lowes here in Beaufort carries 6" PVC, I think it comes in 10' sections. LMK and maybe I can help, Skip

I'll have to check with Lowes here, I only got to HD last night. Biggest they had was 4"

I need a 6" Piece about 8', I may as well buy the 10' section.

How about a general discussion and Frag trade?

I won't be able to send out a meeting notification because my PC is down at home. I'll be able to print the flyers from work, but that's about it.

I don't see any problems with a general discussion since we usually end our meetings with one anyway (before the frag trading that is :)).
Did you have any luck with the PVC pipe? Skip

I just bougt one of these 3" x 36" for a Kalk reactor I am building. It holds about one gal. when full and seems to be pretty sturdy. Best part, only costs $8.50 and comes with end caps. I am going to try to build it some time next week. I'll let you know how it works out.

Dave...that's cool... I never thought about using that stuff. Will it hold the pressure for a Calcium Reactor, you think?

Skip, wife told me to hold off on the $$$ for a few weeks...Got to get stable again. She starts back to work on Tuesday, thank god. She's been real sick with the flu and pnemonia and asma(sp) problems. So I understand, but we need $$$ ;)

Ok, so the meeting is going to be on the 24th @ 12 PM

I don't know where to do it though...Help :D

Is it going to be the 17th or 24th? I thought you were going for the 17th. As for a place you could go back to Pizza Inn since last month was kind of a loss. Skip

Mike, I plan on running the reactor under low pressure as I only want the kalkwasser to drip into the tank. I figure a gate or ball valve in line before the line reaches the reactor should help to cut down on the pressure.

I think we're going to do it at my house on the 24th Maybe @ 1PM does that sound good?

Then I can show off my new system and toys :D Plus it will give an area for everyone to either trade or frag corals. If we have a bunch of people then we'll do it on the deck.
