Looking for a little more blue in the tank, a 20k is what I want to try. Decided to see if anyone has one local first. Thanks

All there is in VHO is 03 actinic, 50/50 and 10K aquasuns which are actually just a touch of pinkish.

add a T5 actinic, very cheap.

looks like I will have to go with a coralife 20k 40w. I thought they made a vho above 12k, but I can't seem to find one, thanks guys

Doug, are you going to overdrive that "NO" bulb?? I'd opt for the URI "03" actinics...VHO's of course. Blue

yes, it will produce 80% of a VHO and last just as long. Ice cap approves this and I have done it to two of my bulbs for a year, here is an article on the subject

I already have a vho 03 actinic 12k, and a vho 50/50 10k, I was looking for something higher than 12k as I agree with gregg, they look pinkish. I want the deep blue accent like the 20k MH bulbs do. I will still have a 6.5k and a 10k to keep it from looking too blue.
