Not sure about the pet industry but store's markup price could be ridiculous. For instance, new PCS phones which retail for $199 you could get it for $60 at cost if you are an employee of circuitcity or any other chain retailers. Same thing goes for other big ticket merchandise also. I got my PCS phone from a buddy of mine who works at circuitcity and saved over $150 that is without any service activation.

How about $299 Sony Car Stereo for $95 at cost. I am sure they are not making money on the phone but not on sony product too.

I noticed the fishinimpossible@cs.com is one of those sellers that cheat eBay out of their fees by relisting an item that has already sold so they don't have to pay a second insertion fee for another one of the same item. This should give you some indication about this persons business ethics.
