ID Orange Algae Please

I have no idea what this orange algea is and if it is harmful, and if it is how to get rid of it...any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't really see the photo that well, but it looks like an encrusting sponge.

Aye I would have to agree with Ed's sponge. I have one in my tank that looks the same. :)
