What's wrong with my firefish - pics(200k)

Not sure if this is some sort of bacterial infection or just scarring from wandering crabs. Looks like a cotton-like patch on the left side of the fish and two on the right side. Another patch is located on it's bottom fin.

1 or 2 hitchhiker crabs
misc corals - LPS, SPS, softies

i have a tang that get that every now and then the only thing i could think of was it was ether caused by him geting to close to my bbt or to close to my boxer crabe

Hi,
I have a Purple Firefish who gets these marks when he dives in his cave to fast and scrapes himself. It always heals right up:) HTH...

That sounds about right. I know it has happened before and gone away, but this time it was much worse. I'll have a talk with him this afternoon about being more careful around those sharp edges.
